Cocorosa Beauty Neroli Cleansing Oil

Why Neroli Makes You Feel Good 💫

Neroli Essential Oil has the ability to uplift your mood but calm you at the same time, which is why it literally makes you feel good 😃

It is also one of the most expensive essential oils and the Tunisian Neroli that we use in Cocorosa Skincare Products is the most coveted extract, and also one of the most expensive.

When I first I breathed in the exquisite sweet floral and green citrus notes, I knew we could only use the beautiful Tunisian Neroli Essential Oil for Cocorosa products. Other Neroli's just pale in comparison.

Neroli has been shown in studies to reduce shock, chronic anxiety, stress and depression 🙌 🙌 🙌

NEROLI ESSENTIAL OIL

Neroli is distilled from orange blossom flowers of the Bitter Orange Tree.

The blossom flowers are very delicate and are usually hand picked. They have to be distilled with a few hours to get the best scent and essential oil yield.

As with most essential oils, Neroli has dozens of naturally occurring chemical constituents. The natural, delicate balance of plant chemical constituents in Neroli makes it a natural mood balancing essential oil.

The constituents in Neroli have many properties including antidepressant properties, sedative properties and cytophylactic (skin cell renewing) properties.

NB - Neroli is probably the most adulterated essential oil in the industry, and it can be adulterated with synthetic chemicals or with natural chemicals. If the suppliers don't do a full series of tests then it is often hard to tell. But I can always tell by doing a smell test.

NEROLI SKIN BENEFITS

  • Neroli is non-allergenic and is great for reducing redness and irritation
  • It is great for dry, sensitive skin with broken capillaries
  • It has a rejuvenating effect on the skin as it has the ability to stimulate the production of healthy, new skin cells.

NEROLI IN COCOROSA SKINCARE

Not surprisingly 😉 you can find it in Neroli Revitalise Cleansing Oil but also in the Rosa Face Oil.

HISTORICAL USE

Neroli should essentially be called Orange Blossom, but it is believed to be named after the Princess of Nerola, who wore gloves scented with Orange Blossom, in around 1680AD.

Records show it has been distilled as far back as 1580AD.

It was an ingredient in the original Eau de Cologne (1709AD), which was created to smell like "an Italian spring morning, of mountain daffodils and orange blossoms after the rain". The Cologne was valued as a gentle tonic to the nervous system.

USE IN AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapists use Neroli mainly for stress/stress related conditions and for scaring - including stretch marks, as it is regenerating on the skin.

It is safe for all skin types.
